Read these rules in full. YES READ THE WHOLE THING. There will be little to no exceptions to any rules and/or requirements listed below.

• You are required to be familiar with all of your spells, abilities and talents
• All new applicants will be given a run-down of encounters prior to engaging; if your class leader failed to do so, it is your job to ask.
• All new applicants will be given a week maximum to learn encounters, using a pen and paper to take notes may assist you in this process
• All new applicants will be expected to know how to play their class and we will not tell you which spell, ability, etc. to use for the task at hand

• Raid schedule is non-negotiable.
• Fires of Heaven raid hours are (PST):
  • MON-FRI: 6:00pm – 12:00am (or later)
  • SAT-SUN: 4:00pm – when we finish
• All applicants are required to have at least 95% attendance
• We prefer players who live in the Pacific Time zone. If you do not, you need to think very hard about whether or not you can realistically handle playing during these hours. Most raids will carry on until 2:00-3:00am EST (pointing this out as most EST players don't realize we are 3 hours behind them)

• All applicants are expected to obtain their own resist armor and do so before coming to a raid in which require such. There are plenty of sites to find Nature, Fire, Frost, Arcane and Shadow Resist armor. Promising applicants will be provided hearts for their crafted Shadow Resist set at a fixed price. Bonus points for having your own (BT) Crafted SR Set.
• Applicants attuned (properly) for all zones prior to the release of Sunwell and/or applicants who have completed The Fall of the Betrayer get bonus points.
• All applicants should be exalted with several of the factions listed below for access to the best head/shoulder enchantments as well as flasks [From Mark of the Illidari]. If you're working on the factions now at an acceptable pace, that's fine.

Note: You should look for groups with the guild members while working on attunement, faction and keys. Contact Melia for the in-game channel which will help members get ahold of you easier if they are looking for party members.

• You will be expected to be bound in Shattrath City (Location may change, check with officers)
• You will be expected to be on-call for any raids and when possible, waiting outside of the zone.
• You will be expected to know how to follow directions, remember them the next time and have basic raid knowledge of your class responsibilities such as; buffing, de-buffing, crowd control, aggro management, etc.
• If you DO NOT have a reliable internet connection and/or a computer that can run WoW lag-free (which doesn't take much); do not apply, please. If you are constantly lagging or going linkdead you are wasting your time and ours.
• If you are currently in school, unemployed and looking for work, expecting a child, or in any other situation where you will have to alter your playtime in the future - please do not apply and waste my time.
• If you have to take extended breaks, vacations, etc. - please go apply to a casual guild.
• If you are under 18 years of age do not apply. If you are over 25 years of age you get bonus points.

• We are on the Black Dragonflight Server (PVP) - Confirm you're able to transfer to this server prior to submitting an application. We are accepting applications for whichever classes I noted that led you to this page. You are expected to be a 'seasoned' level 70 player (ie: you did not just hit level 70 and apply, I will confirm this by checking your gear, faction, etc.)
• You will need to complete ALL fields of your application
• Leaving fields blank, not noticing you selected the wrong class, race, etc. – will result in your application being deleted
• Use the comments box to sell yourself; you will gain bonus points for doing so.
• ALL cross-server applicants are required to provide their former guild name as well as give three references from that guild.

• DO NOT SPAM OUR OFFICERS FOR THE STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION.
• Melia will contact you for further action.
  
  Don't round-robin players for application status. If I didn't contact you, you were probably rejected or I missed your application somehow.

• All applicants must have mIRC and join #fires on the irc.uberguilds.org network.
  • Use your CHARACTER NAME as your mIRC nickname. (Link: mIRC)
  • You will need to REGISTER your name in mIRC prior to being allowed to join our channel. Do so by typing: /msg nickserv REGISTER yourpassword youremail (replace yourpassword with a password of your choice, replace youremail with your email address). Once registered, type /msg Ravvenn My name is YourCharacterName (Applicant).
• All applicants must have Ventrilo and a microphone. Use your CHARACTER NAME as your nickname (Link: Ventrillo).
• All applicants >ACCEPTED< must request applicant forum access; do so by contacting Melia in-game (Ravvenn in mIRC). Make sure you have registered on http://www.fohguild.org with your character's name immediately after submitting this application..
• Keep in mind I will not grant you forum access, mIRC access, or provide Ventrillo information until your application has been accepted. However, you will need to have both mIRC and Ventrillo installed prior to acceptance (already set up/registered with your CHARACTER NAME) and you will also need to be registered on our forums. If you cannot do this, you probably couldn't handle following raid instructions, which means you're wasting your time reading this.

Do NOT contact me for assistance setting up mIRC or Ventrillo. Both are very simple programs and both have online FAQ pages you can read. I am not wiping your ass and if you can't even figure out how to work slash commands in mIRC or follow directions (like above), I will just reject your application based off of the fact that you're obviously retarded.
